What is the plural of Skaarj?
Simple question!
What do people consider the plural of Skaarj?
My instinct is that the word doesn't change, but I have seen people write "Skaarjs" or even "Skaarjes".
If it is based on regular english then an "s" would not be added to the end.
For example 1 sheep, 7 sheep.
Thoughts anyone?

I agree, "Many Skaarj" seems to work better than "many Skaarjs"

Re: What is the plural of Skaarj?
Well there seems to be a general agreement on Skaarj being the plural so happy days.
Only thing left now is how to pronounce "Skaarj"
Scar - j ?
Scare - j ?
I've also heard it spoken in cutscenes without the "j" at the end for example, although that could be that particular map-writers interpretation

I always said it as "scar," with the "J" being silent. ^^

Interesting! I've always pronounced the "J".Beemo wrote:I always said it as "scar," with the "J" being silent. ^^
I've always said it like you would when saying "Taj" from "Taj Mahal".

hehe, well yes, it was meant as a joke of course. i appreciate funny conversations from time to time since there is too often a lot of negativity within everything. your comment on voodoo's obviously "not-to-be-meant-too-serious" question immediately reminded me on sheldon

@ BBG-(DOG)- (and everything he said)
You sir are a legend! Awesome sense of humour!
Great dungeon map by the way - is the final version downloadable anywhere?
PENNY PENNY PENNY
On topic: I pronounce Skaarj as MK said mentioned with the word "charge" - so I would say it in my head as "Skarge".
To me the "aa" is pronounced exactly like the "aa" in the word "aardvark" and who doesn't like aardvarks eh?

ah, yes, good point! if bbg agrees, i'll upload the package to bbg's maps in the download section. when the map was finished we waited until the first players would solve the riddleVooDoo-(DOG)- wrote: Great dungeon map by the way - is the final version downloadable anywhere?

Re: What is the plural of Skaarj?
Yes, afaik it's always been "The Skaarj" and the pronounciation is most often that with the silent j but in my opinion the j can be pronounced. I like to pronounce it actually with the non-english j, as in "y" when in front of the word like in "yes" in english.
