I was going to chime in on what card I bought 2 years ago because it's still an extremely good card in 2014 and I got it for $229.00.
After looking around for it I find that the cheapest you can get it for now is $350.00?Newegg doesn't carry it anymore.
Says a bit about this puppy though.I can still run almost any new game on full settings. ;)

Never had a problem with heat or noise with AMD formerly ATI.You may get some fan noise under a heavy load but you will with all cards.
I was a long time fan of Nvidia but switched once ATI got their drivers straight...finally.
Sapphires are great cards but I only buy XFX due to the lifetime warranty.I have been overly satisfied with all my XFX cards.
Whatever you do end up buying just make sure to read all reviews.Good luck!

All that being said this card here is bang for the buck. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... gnorebbr=1

Amazon has it $20 cheaper. http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Double-1050M- ... B00GN1Y42A

I bought a GTX 750 ti however it was only a hair faster than my current 560.
So i returned it and got the 760 which is much faster.
Thanks so much to everyone who helped out.
