To calculate a persons playing time, u take the numbers of map one plays and multiply that with the play-map-time.

Taco: 5 x 15 minutes= 75 minutes
Minus: 30 x 2,5 minutes= 75 minutes

Yep, its obvious, u two play inf the same amount of time :)

Maybe I don't know the difference but it would be helpful to have the "Callvote" enabled so we could "skip" a map, not a "mapvote" where people choose maps (that would be a pain and skewed). Don't know if it's possible but I think that is what we're looking for. Just my 2 cents.

Unless someone is intrested in writing down the bad maps, this making list part is gonna take months.

I'd say that we try something diffrent here:
Each person who plays on there needs to write down at least 5 bad maps (more if possible :)).
After that, Sparky can put on callvote.

We repeat this at each start of the month.

Comes to this: Sparky will disable callvote at the 1st of every month untill he receives a number of bad maps.

Dunno if this will work, but we need something like this. Unless a person wants to go through all maps by himself.....

Lemme hear what u all think about something like this to clean up maps.

Ok call vote works on regular MM server. Guess I made an old person mistake. So let me know and I will add to mm INF server.
A vote of 51% can skip present map running.

Hm, what do you mean with bad maps? I'm still not very familiar with MM.
If you have a map which crashes or there are no Monsters spawning, you can be sure that the pathnet is invalid. If I'm correct,
maps for MM needs a valid and working pathnet. You need to ask Wolf about it, but I think the spawner uses Pathnodes and
Spawnpoints to spawn the Monsters. For example the DMTacoCafe map: This one couldn't work because someone deleted all
pathnodes in it, but the net still was there. That map only could crash the server.

As I could see, there are many mappers around here. Should be possible to fix those maps. But please also ask Wolf how the
Spawner in MM works exactly, that would be a great help.

Now as for bad maps. Most of us regular MMers know when a map is bad.

1) Crashes
2) No Monsters
3) No weapons/ammo
4) Way too small
5) Way too BIG
6) Some you just don't want to play

Now some of the small maps are fine if you're alone (then monsters have a chance to spawn) and some of the big maps are fine with a full house (not wandering around alone aimlessly). I've suggested before that someone fix the "fixable" maps but most of those mappers are in coop and/or don't want to. Heck did we ever get "Buttons" fixed for KOTH DM? Master Unreal was going to have a looksee way back when. Oh well, it is what it is and I'm happy with what I've got. The skip map is very much welcome. It's almost like Christmas or my birthday. I'm so happy I might just cry.... :cry: NOT!. I am very happy though :D Frag on brothers and sisters!!!
