Permanent Fragments Mutator

I only wanted to make this topic so that I would talk about the mutator, although you can give it to me anytime, it's just because I'm interested in that mutator after realizing the mutator used in the Second Newbiesplayground Test Server.
I was actually curious as in why are there dead bodies of other players/pawns that didn't disappear once you kill them, then looking at the server info, I realized that one of the "Used Mutators" section had the Permanent Fragments used.
And if me wanting this mutator upsets you, I sincerely apologize.

Thank you, MMU, for one of the mutators that act similar to this!
I'll keep this, but I'll still need the other "Permanent Fragments" mutator so that I could compare and contrast between the two mutators.

EDIT: I forgot to ask, how do you activate this?

Hi Epsilon,

The PermanentFragments mutator can be found here at Masterkent's sourceforge page. Full and detailed readmes are available with all the public mods listed there. So for example if you wanted to use if offline, then you would do something like this :

open nyleve?mutator=permanentfragments.permanentfragments (the manual way)

Or if you are using Unreal Gold, you can select it from the menu new offline game with the Use Mutator list.

Ah yes! The thanks should go to them! I know that Shivaxi made the mutator, and I think he deserves it, but I don't know if MasterKent is active.

Like yourself, I tried both mutators over the last few years. I think this type of mutator adds more realism to the game. The only possible downside in server terms could be having 100s of carcasses/chunks/fragments around, although this is of course configurable.

Yes he is active, see here recently on Oldunreal for example.
