I got your message in game and I replied but got no answer!
You just need to go through the intro do what Strider tells you and you'll be fine.
You won't be out of intro until about level 8-9.
Once you're finished then you can be invited to a fellowship where you'll be able to talk in game and get some pointers.
Play around with your controls till it feels ok.The rest will come.

Sorry I missed your reply.,..still trying to get familirized with the internface. Im a bit lost but I hope to get through those leves fast. Taco feels lonely in middle-earth...hehehe..NOw I wunders if Im the only Taco roaming middle-earth???

Take it from someone who never played an MMORPG before LOTRO,it's different!
I actually installed/uninstalled three times before I was actually willing to play through the intro.
It's not a steep learning curve it's just different.
A good tip:Grab the screen with your right mouse button,just click and hold.
This allows you to direct your character in any direction.Now just use keys for forward,back,left,right.
Left click screen and holding it will change camera view.
You'll learn a lot as you go.

Ow.... yep. Actually it only took about 45 minutes for the 10gb

Very nice.I haven't tried that download link as I didn't know about it in the beginning.
I used Lotro's downloader,Pando.It took 3hrs.
Btw,if you did use the Pando downloader(It's basically a torrent program for LOTRO,UNINSTALL it after download is finished!)
If you don't it will continue to seed(upload)other download clients.

yeah, got it now without that pando proggie. I dont like it much when i need to install something to get something.
