Well the old one is less than enthusiastic about windows 7. I have had it installed on several computers, starting with the release candidate and now a 3 computer family pack. I have tried both 32 bit and 64 bit on Pentium 4, ht and on 775 dual and quad core. I find this operating system to function but somewhat problematic. I think it will surpass vista, after a couple of service packs, but I wouldnt run out and buy it now. Sparky votes thumbs down. Good time to wait a bit, but if you buy a new computer, expect to have this forced on you. Hard to beat the stability of XP and the wide spread software and drivers available for it.
