I exchanged the scorpion.u and added the uax on Arachnopolis. I couldn't start the map. Now it runs, but I haven't seen it yet. :lol:

I like the UB maps much more than the other ones. UB-Nexus was a map I already had. If you skip SkyTown2 and Bluff2 you could have a little series of 12 maps. And the UB maps are linked in the right sequence.

I don't know how much you altered the PSX maps for your server, but I made a coop version of the mappack now:

E2L7A was pain to rebuild though, real pain. And I only moved that one brush at start so players don't get stuck in between the waterflow.

As for the maps, there are many changes and stuff, I even rebuilt that E2L7A map which was pain to (I moved one brush, that invisible waterflow as I said, beacuse for some players with higher FPS or game speed they couldn't get in there, they became stuck unless they hit crouch), without anything much noticable. All maps have music, all maps have exploding walls adjusted correctly, etc. I even made a new version of E2L6B, with nitrogen sliths and abestos suit locker. Seems like dinwitty made rtnp prelude final now. Now, most of maps are rtnp ones, but it has few unique maps which can be used, before roland's conversion I think you used rtnp2U by dinwitty.

I have problems to open the site, it crashes the explorer at once, but I was able to click the link for the UMS map after several tries. That version is a little different to the ones Solo has, so I thought maybe that would run on server, but it also crashes the server at once.
It's a very complex map and it's surly very good in SP, but I've doubts if it would be a good idea to run it on server the way it is, even if it would work there. In this map you really need to know where to go and what to do. It can be very confusing if you don't know it, a little like MP_01 - The Wreck of the Urania.

If it really should be possible to get this map to work on server maybe some modifications might be necessary for better coop play. I get always lost in this map :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yes, Solo did run it on his server.....where is he by the way? I haven't heard him for a long time, I hope he is okay.
It is quite complex map, but I did learn it few times I played it, but yes it is indeed confusing map.

I just noticed there is THS conversion on the servers, does that mean Roland's conversion is removed? Roland's conversion is more close to original rtnp and all serevrs I know are alrady using THS conversion, I thought you would keep roland's conversion in there. It just makes no sense to me, so far Roland's con version is the most fixed and most close to original, I even fixed two of the maps for my purposes to keep them even more perfect. Like adding visible glass to toxic, at one area and fixing that one brush, so it contains the air vent gap.

As far as I know is the Roland conversion still on server. The Dinwitty conversion was removed. Yep, Roland's maps are close to the original, but still somethings missing. THS is also a great work, saw it on several servers over the last weeks. Personally I like the THS more, especially the Eldora solution :lol:

Yeah I just discovered that from OldSparky in a server.
Roland's conversion is more close to the original (as if you played RTNP with dzmapm mutator and the absence of intermissions doesn't matter to me, sure perfect conversion would have that, maybe even as optiinable, because some people just hate those) and I found many bugs in THS version actually, in crashsite maps you can get stuck at various places, etc, the weapons are based on the ugold upak, so they have missing sprites and incorrent aligment of skins and TH didn't fix anything of it sadly, not even the bug with rocketexplosion not playing sound... ok it might not matter that much to players, but I still prefer roland's conversion, TH and srbasslot did some good job with new voice acting and stuff, or even that the marines throw grenades, but it's not like original, which was purpose of roland's conversion and even the geometry bugs were fixed with swallowed geometry, at least in the second version, because he forgot to update it before with the nagomi maps, yeah I actually proposed many of those fixes, so I may be biased on that one, but I know it makes a difference.

I just uploaded the test versions of the altered roland's two maps:

The zoneinfo is fixed at one place, he added the burned damage at wrong place and the end button is fixed, also at toxic the vent is fixed and added glass where it belongs, so it isn't actually invisible.

Roland said he will add those two maps in new version update probably. So you can just rename them and use them if you want.

Hey...I noticed you still have old 12coldpassage after those years, not the one having the shieldbelt secret, there is shield that gives you lots of points.
I think you should get the coldpassage from the third pack on Paci's site, with the secret teleporter.
