Had a check-up with the doc this morning.
The symptons (fluids !!) that i still have are common to the operation i had. So no worries there.
Wounds heal good.
Doc was happy, he'll see me again in sept.

Although doc was happy, i'm not that excited yet. Cant sit for long in same position.

Need to cycle alot he says. We'll do :)

Sounds promising though!

You could alternate between sitting on the handle bars and saddle, like the Red Bull X-Fighters :)

All the best mate!

Found this pic, made june 5th.
They took a piece of the hamstring from left leg, and put that in as tendon in the right knee.

Thanks Daisy !!!

A little update then:

Things could be better. I still feel some pain inside what i dont think that belaongs there... . Almost all upperleg muscles are gone now. Good thing i can take my bike and cycle outside. The cycling thing also reduced alotta fluid.
I work 50% now, taxi picking me up and getting me home :) Its good to be back at work (and yes, the mrs is very happy as well...hehehe).

Hopefully my driving skills will be back in a few weeks. Cause then we'll go on holiday, and i wanna drive !!!!

Cu in server !!

How goes the battle at wounded knee?

Well, right now, i think i lost it :(
Cant do anything with it not causing any pain :(
And yes, i do know what pain is. A constant irrirtating feeling inside that knee....cant run, cant exercise, cant lift up kids....not a thing.

I can walk though, thats not causing any pain. So i'm happy with that. But besides that....nothing much.

Have an appointment with orthopedian early september. Anxious to hear what he finds of this knee....

To this point, its a big desillusion, and its only getting bigger.

I am glad your able to walk,, take it easy, give it some time, don't become discouraged.
