Why did you change it?

Taken/recovered by GamesHarder. Found somewhere, the second shot is a beta screenshot. I remember this.
Back in 1998. You can't take away my memories! There was no mention I played a beta, it was like the real thing.
I suppose it made for a better view but the old stuff was much more darker/moody and scary and less linear. You could go to the right and meet the brutes, or go to the left and explore the caves as I think they were all go through. And...argh. Why, why was it changed?
It was supposed to be the release....

To get my mind off the stress now.
There is also this screenshot:
Which is the old flyby showing you flying through the fire unreal logo instead of it being in the menu graphics.
And here one of screenshots from 1997 showing that shanechurch and dm gothic were recycled in ut (hence why they appeared late in ut's developement) and dm gothic perhaps was meant to appear as a singleplayer map (if not in the main game then addon).
This makes Kew's use of ShaneChurch more "canon" than it was initially thought.
