Hi there!

If possible, I would like to join DOG.

Most people know me as Syntax-Error, because I play Unreal since it got released in 1998.
I've been away for a few years (10+ years ago), got married and had kids...
In the past I've been a member of WKYB and GOD, and also in the team of Smirftsch (OldUnreal)...

I often play with other members of DOG (rubicon, leela, hyzoran and others) playing DM, INF and COOP.
Some members might know me as DigitalOverdose or Nick-Nack...
I use these nicks often, just for fun!

This is always great fun.
I'm a honest player, play fair, friendly, never use bad language and am always prepared to help people.

So...
Is it possible for me to become a member?

To be honest...

I don't know in what way observing is needed, since I play Unreal since it got released (1998).
Everybody knows me, or by my mentioned nicks (like you do), not from just 1 day of playing.
So I think that I have been observed more than once in the past...

I've been playing on newbies servers quite a lot in the past and played with and against several
DOG-members on other servers as well.

You and I for example played COOP recently more than once and I shared Superhealth, belts etc
So, I'm not a greedy guy that wants to keep all for myself...
No bad language, but always friendly, funny and polite....

This is how I always play, so... I think I would/could be DOG material?

Syntax-Error

Read the dog rules and code. This observation is our required entry requirement. We have very strict ideas and we carefully select Dogs. Patience and dedication are but a couple of our requirements.

I've already read the rules before posting my application.
I won't play any different than before, so let the observing begin then


BTW
I do have a public Unreal server available (on VDSL 2mbit upstream / 20mbit downstream).
If wanted/needed I can configure it as required...

Syn, please don't take offence to Newbie's procedure of accepting new DOG's.

Show dedication to clan and servers and everything will go smooth. Just show a bit of patience, we are not asking for much. You a good shooter, none will dispute this, but DOG clan about more than this.

So please, don't take the 'observing' term to be condescending.

Yesterday evening while playing, Sparky said I was allowed to wear the -(PUP)- tag!
Isn't that kewl?

So... I'm a puppy!
But the enemy would wish me to be on a leash!

Until now I've already had a lot of fun playing with you guys, so... I think this is kewl.

I enjoy playing with you guys. It's always great fun, but there can also
be some serious moments as well. (looking for example at the "Health and reallife issues"
on the forum, which is a good topic if you ask me).
