Vigil99 maps for the server

They were converted by Casey, you can find them in this thread:

They are really challenging and great maps, although they use own gametype, they should work with coop, of course some changes need to be made as there are actually once only passages etc...and you need jumpboots to get to the end in the final map.

yup, they look great, but there is a weird problem. I loaded them to the testserver and they work fine. When Jackal tested the maps on the server we wasn't able to load the second map. If I interpret the server-log right, there is a problem with the u file. Something in the map doesn't match with something in the u file. Looks like some weapon settings not right. We made sure that we both used the same files. On one server it works, on the other not. That's really strange.

Here is the log part. This must have another reason. The one I mentioned was with the older 220 version. When I run the maps there is no problem, except that I totally don't know what to do in the second map :lol: :lol: :lol:

Are you sure it is the updated map? The updated one had rebuilt paths...

Hi :)

I sent Jackal all files I used and he told me that he used exactly the same files. But to be absolutly sure we should repeat the test. I will ask Jackal about it. I can't imagine they run on one server and on the other not. Both servers are similiar to avoid differences.

These maps will not convert to 225 with the map converter and I don't like all the special u files. If you read the read me with the download, the author has kinda a attitude as well. I say forget it. I don't favor using custom u files, as one never really knows what your getting besides the desired effect in the maps.
