IceLizards 'WIP' thread
Following suit with Creavions idea over at places like oldunreal and unrealsp, I'll initiate a WIP thread here (if this topic would be in the right subforum that is) which anybody is welcome to share screenshots+stuff for anything that they are currently in the middle of working on.
I will also use this as an opportunity to share some shots of what I am currently in the process of creating.
Some shots of TSB Underground base (location not disclosed D: )
(a large-capacity TSB storage container)
( Impact storage crate [a kind of drop crate for logistical purposes] )
------------------------
Something else
------------------------
A wip model of an INUIT vessel:
And something I've started fairly recently:
All geometry, lighting, textures and models featured in these shots were made by me.
Feel free to post any images of stuff you're currently in the middle of developing in this thread

Thanks guys
I'm not working for a game company D: , but game design is something I'd like to enter professionally in the future, although Unreal will always take priority

Re: IceLizards 'WIP' thread
This is insanely good IceLizard! BBG-(DOG)- got it exactly right with "Conceptual Grandness". I couldn't agree more, in Unreal terms, it is beautiful.
The one below is now my puter's desktop wallpaper.
PS. Can I call you "Ice" or do you prefer the full "IceLizard"?

Thanks Voodoo
Honestly either is fine, you can call me 'Ice' if you want
Almost finished this table (though I'm also wondering how to improve the lighting on it, it's probably something to do with the capped overbright being lower than on world geometry.)

Cool Christmas castle looks like it has an interesting layout; are all the rooms accessible?

That's really a monster amount of detail Kajgue.
It feels like people like me are stuck in the middle-ages when it comes to mapping. Well, at least we keep the tradition of low poly map making!

Re: IceLizards 'WIP' thread
What kind of help do you mean? As in tips or helping out with some maps?
I could use more help if I'm to release the upsx ep 1 p 2 this year still.
And honestly I'd love to, because it took so long and I'm a nervous wreck most of the time.

I mean help moreso as in helping you learn more about Ued
If I recall though I haven''t actually seen any screenshots or previews of your maps, atleast not recently O.O
Unfortunately though because I'm quite involved in working on a secret-ish project, but if you want i could help you with becoming more acquainted with Ued or various techniques at some point.

Well, I know everything there is at least for the traditional way of map-making. I do not always employ these things either despite knowing them though.(T:S:B)IceLizard wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2017 9:35 pm I mean help moreso as in helping you learn more about Ued

But you're mostly working with outside programs these days, right?
I don't post screenshots because it's time-consuming to me and involved, given I have to transfer files each time now from a different machine. You're free to try the maps out however if you want. I can pack up another betatest to replace the current one later.
