Flags
I really like the flags now by usernames. I hope more and more members add their flags as time goes by. Also, it gives the forum little splashes of extra colours.

Re: Flags
It is rather a tremendously splendid idea, because if we had to ask somebody for their nationality it would be an advantage looking at the flags.
What's also beneficial is the fact that if we hover the mouse over the flags we might get a small popup near the cursor stating the flag of which nation. This is useful for when a person forgot which specific flag are they looking at to determine the nationality of a fellow member unless if the person doesn't have an account to access the forum.
When I got the warning I decided to do what the procedures had to provide, and here I am with my proud Egyptian patriotism and heritage!
WOOF!

Re: Flags
That's all fine, but what if there's someone like me who no longer feels like he belongs to a particular nation, especially if my origins are from a nation that's split into three official states and now is being ravaged by political powers, apart from the independance movements?
I mean, you could have the same situation with some proud scotsman for example refusing to put the flag of great britain there.

It's not compulsory!
To be honest, I feel no particular pride or patriotism for Australia. I don't identify as "an Australian" on a personal level. It's just the place that I was born and raised and that I live now.
If I had to answer about my heritage and ethnicity (not that that sort of thing is important to me), it'd be more accurate for me to identify as Ashkenazi as opposed to any particular modern nation.
