Daisy told me that Larrys dad is in pretty bad condition and prayers sure would be helpful. I think he is suffering from Kidney failure, and he is an older man. So ask for support in your prayers for this family. Anything we can do Larry let us know.

We are kind of stuck here waiting... jumping up alot when phone rings. His mom called this am... we missed that. Called her back... She is not home... ugh. Don't know how the dialysis went last night... no new info, just waiting... and waiting... and waiting....

It was a huuuuuuge relief to get him on the phone at the hospital. ( Thank you Sparky for the idea ).

Larry spoke to him again tonight for a bit. That helps alot. We still dont know if his one kidney is
functioning. Have to wait for someone to give us the full medical update. Will let you know. Thank you Bubbles
and family. Means alot.

Update: The hematoma pressing on his kidney seems to be getting smaller, tho we still don't know
how much damage was done to the remaining kidney. Dialysis is being used to support that kidney
and it will be some time again waiting to see if the kidney can function. Will update as I know
more.

Larry spoke to his sister last night and the update is looking good.

Urine output was 2 cc's an hour initially, which is why he was put on dialysis. The treatment to stop the bleeding affecting the kidney is working.
His hematacrit is back close to normal levels and urine output is 200 cc's and hour. We are all hoping and praying there
was no chronic damage to the kidney.

so far, it looks good.. he is old, but he is a stubborn old guy, so we are hopeful.

Just some leftover blood from the initial bleedout, the kidney seems to be bouncing
back.

The kidney is continuing to heal. Still doing some dialysis to support it til it heals more, but
the doctors believe this was an acute issue, not chronic and will be monitoring his meds
to keep this from reoccuring.
