Yesterday I started mi mini-notebook. Aspire-One..and I saw thin whisps of smoke coming out from the vent and keys where the HD is prob located..to the left side of the keyboard. Smelled something burnt.

Now, it works fine..and I think I can hear the fan..but I'm afraid to keep on using it and having it burn completely..any ideas what happened? I dont want to open it and mess with it until I get some ideas here.

Sorry I didnt answer..I havent around to reading the links yet. I wont open it til I read..and I wont read coz DoD and Unreal keep me busy..hhahaha..kidding. I will let you know my findings

Well..used it yesterday for a few hours..today all morning,...all working fine.
