Font Creator Program

So recently I got this idea hovering around in my head like a spaceship and I thought "I wanna make a font of my own so bad, that I also want to show the people I know my font I usually think of."
And I used some programs, I find Font Creator the easiest to use and I wanted to download my own font that I created, but unfortunately I have to purchase Font Creator by High Logic to do so.
Could anybody suggest a good program for font creating and also the easiest font creator I could use?
